Sorry.  I am currently trying to pass Physics, and it's not easy.  So...no drawings until I'm done with this stupid class.

Now You're Thinking with Portals

Okay, so I played Portal 2 since last time.  It was super fun, and also frustrating.  Boyfriend couldn't watch me do it, because he was way ahead of me in the story line, so he knew how to do everything.  And if you watch someone do a puzzle you've already solved, you just want to tear your hair out.

Portal 2 is one of my favorite games.  It did glitch on me majorly in the final battle, but nothing going to a new game won't fix.

The comics above aren't from Portal 2, but from the Portal demo.  I never did play through Portal 1, but the demo was certainly fun.

Bittersweet start

If there are typos in this post: blame my dad.  A week ago from this past Friday, I cut my finger trying to separate two pieces of pipe for my dad.  The cut bled and bled, and I probably should've gotten a stitch...oh well.  The doctor gave me a shot of antibiotic, a prescription for ten days of the antibiotic in pill form, and a tetnus shot.  The days have been spent smothering Neosporin on my finger and soaking it in salt water.

Today, I learned that I'm allergic to the antibiotic.  Thank goodness my finger is almost healed up.  Keeping band aids on it still, so there might be typos...and also why I didn't post last week.



Anyways, you are probably here to look at my drawing of the week.  Since I have only nine fingers to work with the past week or so, I haven't drawn anything new, so you get this one.
It's again from that wonderful show Red vs. Blue.
Sometime in the first three seasons, Donut gets stuck under the Warthog (or Puma, or Chupathingy, whatever your preference), and ta-da, drawing.

It's Summer!

Yay!  Finals are over, and I'm back home!  Unfortunately, I haven't been drawing much.  Good thing I have some saved over from the year.

I've been saving up for an xbox 360.  I figured, its charm hasn't rubbed off over time, and I still really want one.  I also am under orders to do something that makes me happy every week or so, and saving up to get an xbox is pretty fun, though not as much fun as actually getting it, but still.  I also think of it as now I won't have to bother people to play on their xbox's.  AND  I'll probably be making more drawings, since I would have unlimited access to one of my inspirations for my drawings.

So...the xbox fund has started. 

Anyways, to the drawing up above.  I got bored during finals week, and I was reading Extraordinary Comics (http://www.exocomics.com/178)  when I wanted to just draw a scene type thing.  So there's a kitty, and a pond and some trees and stuffs.

I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Finals Week Procrastination

Its finals week!  I have both my finals tomorrow.  Meteorology in the morning, and Mathematics in the evening.  Mathematics is going to SUCK!

Well, on to the drawing of the week.
I drew the above this past weekend when I was procrastinating.  I did *not* want to study.  At all.  I still don't, and my exams are tomorrow.

Anyways, it's just something I observed.  It started with the fact that I always seem to find only the legendary Hammers, even though I'd totally pick a sword any old day.  Then that thought bled into the thought that I can't even lift a war hammer, much less use one.  And ta-da!  Comic.

Kitties and Angry Birds

Hello.  I went home this past weekend and met this cat that apparently visits from time to time.  She's a real cutie.  She almost ran away but I crouched and called to her, and she immediately ran over and jumped into my lap.

That's her.  She's a beautiful cat.  Apparently, my mom had accidentally left the sun roof open on her car overnight, and she got in. In the morning, my mom was going to go to the store, and she looked back to back up the car, and the cat was sitting on the back seat.

Anyways, I had fun with the new cat, and started a twitter for my evil cat, Misty.  So go check out Misty_theCat on twitter.  It'll probably pick up more when I come home for the summer, when I'll be around her more, but it'll hopefully still be entertaining before then.

On Sunday, I played Angry Birds on my mom's phone.  I want a smart phone now.  Or an ipod touch.  Man, that's a fun game. 




I should probably get to my drawing of the week.  Above, is a drawing of two kittens.  It's kinda sad though.  Boyfriend's cat, Dolly, was pregnant, but lost the two kittens.  One was black with a brown spot on it's face.
It's kinda doubly sad, because Dolly is no longer with us.

Back on track

I finished reading Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden this weekend, and watched the movie when I got back to school.
And then I drew a geisha.  Ta-da!
Now, I have to get back to studying so I can pass political science and be done with it.

Losing my Marbles

Well...at least it's only Tuesday. 
I must be losing my mind.  This is the second week in a row I didn't post on Monday.

At least I'm almost done with this semester.

The two drawings above are scenes from the webseries Red vs. Blue, which is produced by Rooster Teeth.

Sorry, I forgot to post Monday.  I was crazy busy studying for my meteorology exam.  To try to make up for it, I'll give you three pictures, to represent Monday, Tuesday, and today, Wednesday.

I finally finished that ninja drawing, and loved drawing it so much I drew some more.  That last one is my favorite so far.

Back to school...

I'm back from spring break, which  is why there was not post last Monday.

The above picture is something I worked on just before spring break.  I haven't scanned the almost finished product so you get the picture I took before making more changes. 

Anyways, I'm tired, and beat down from all the work I need to catch up on, so I'm done.

Okay. I gave you two pictures today.  Obviously, I drew the first one.  The second one, boyfriend helped me in theater mode in Halo Reach to take a screen shot and I took that to picnik.com and added the other stuffs.

I personally don't like the original cartoon drawing, and now I'm contemplating redrawing it.  But why try to compete with screenshot?  I guess I won't be doing that.

Anyways, I'm super tired from lack of sleep, so I'm done.

School is interrupting my gaming

Hello.  Pokemon Black and White came out yesterday!  I have my copy of Black.  I'd be playing it right now except, I have to take an exam this afternoon.

I don't have a Pokemon comic.  I drew the one above yesterday though.  My little sister Rachel is featured. 

Every time I say 'rawr' infront of my little sister, she says "Rawr means 'I love you' in dinosaur", and I am extremely tired of it.  I have no come back, so I generally ignore her, maybe sometimes saying "not the way I say rawr".
So I thought of this in my head.  Thinking that Rachel seriously needs to come up with her own material.


It made me chuckle when drawing it.
But I think that's about it.

Man, I am soooo tired.  Not feeling well, with a sore throat.  My weekend wasn't so great.  I got home early, on Thursday, and that was awesome.  My dog, Mocha, had knee surgery, and was at the vet all Friday until Saturday morning.
Friday morning, my cat had a stroke or seizure, fell down the stairs, and got a concussion.  She was doing fine when I left on Sunday.  But for a while, after she came home, she could only make right turns.  My poor evil kitty.

Anyways, because both my pets had such a bad weekend, I chose a comic with my Fable 3 dog.  My dog in Fable 3 is.....interesting.  It will stand on fence posts, run away when I whistle for it, and all kinds of things.  When my boyfriend or I see something weird involving a dog in Fable 3, we call out "Who's Jacqui's dog?".

I guess you could say my dog is comic relief, maybe.  Or just an idiot moment during a game.

The comic above has an explanation, like they all have.  Boyfriend and I were doing a quest in Fable 3, when we became trapped in a room with the ceiling coming down, with spikes on it.  a magical barrier was blocking the exit, but of course, my dog went through, sat down, and looked happy as could be.

Unicorns are Evil

So last week and this past weekend kinda sucked.  Lots of studying, and I'm not yet done with exams.  I did pass my Gateway exam though, with is a huge accomplishment.

Anyway, Oblivion.  I don't know much about the game.  The first time I picked it up, was forever ago, when I first started playing video games, and was never really played again.
I was hanging out with boyfriend on weekend, and he had been playing Oblivion and Morrowind and stuffs.  He had to go someplace real quick, so he handed me the controller.

I figured out all the buttons, and started exploring in my designated 'safe' zone. when I saw someone weird.  It was boyfriends unicorn.  It was glitched halfway up a column, twitching.  Boyfriend came back, and told me to hit it.  So I did, and the unicorn attacked and killed me.
Boyfriend found this hilarious.

The next encounter with the unicorn not ten minutes later wasn't any better.  Let's just say, me riding the unicorn, being chased by 5 bears and a cat person isn't fun.  but it's flippin' hilarious to boyfriend.


Unicorns are evil.  'nuff said.

Okey dokey!

Hey there, and Happy Valentines Day, Single's Awareness Day, and apparently Vampire Day.
I don't really have a lovey-dovey cartoon, so you'll just have to make due with this one.

That strange looking thing is an alien called an Engineer.  They are harmless and bright colored.  Although, you still have to kill them in Halo Reach.
The person labeled as George is a NPC.
And then there's me. 

I like the Engineers, mainly cuz they can't hurt me.  And lets face it, it floats, it's bright pink and bright blue, and it makes cute noises.  It's flippin' adorable.

So this weekend, I visited my boyfriend and my older sister at their college.  I ended up helping boyfriend's friends get the Suicune from the local Game Stop.  And then, I took a total of four games (not including my own) to my local Toys R Us, so that everyone had Ash's Pikachu.

I admit it:
I am a college student who loves Pokemon. 

I have already pre-ordered Pokemon Black.  The new game comes out on March 6th.  the same day I will be getting Celebi. 

The comic above is just something I made on the side, and just so happens to be my only Pokemon comic right now.  It portrays me, being idiotic, and alarming one of my favorite Pokemon, Latias.


Drawing News: I'm kinda lagging behind, but then again, I am a college student, and I need to study so I can get out of here faster.

I have finished a couple cartoons, and have plans for more.

Grifball is back!

So yea.  Grifball has been added to Halo Reach.  It's my favorite game, so I was very excited to go home this past weekend. 
I got lots of awesome medals I've never gotten before, cuz it turns out I'm kinda good at Grifball.

Anyways, here's a picture my boyfriend took when we were playing.


Totem pole.  Not my idea originally, but by boyfriend and his little brother.  But the other team ended up with only one person, so we were goofing around.

But this journal isn't about my love for Grifball, but about my drawings.

I haven't made my tribute drawing to Grifball yet, so you'll have to settle for a regular Halo one.

Ugh.  That.  Was.  SUPER ANNOYING!

I had some computer issues.  First this thing wouldn't let me add my picture as I wanted it. 

Then my computer decided to freak out.

For the record:  technology hates me.  I have such a hard time with it. 



Anyways.  This is a drawing about something that happened when boyfriend and I were playing through the campaign.


There's a level with a spire, and being abnormally brave, I went to the top to find three strong Elites, and their horde of grunts.  I took them out, without dying, which is an amazing feat for me.

Boyfriend came up shortly after I had annihilated the Covenant at the top of the spire, and upon seeing that I had wiped out all the enemies, and me saying "Look what I did!", he replied "But I wanted to do that."

Well too bad.  It was one of my rare awesome moments were I do something completely badass.  Like taking out a platoon of Covenant warriors.


So, it was a Major Epic Win.


I did rent Fable 3 over the weekend, and started my evil file, but I haven't finished those comics yet.


Looking forward to the Pokemon downloads that I will be getting at the end of the week.

Oh, except:

My mom and my older sister convinced me to start a new blog.  Mainly about my observations about the American Government (I've been reading my political science book) and the world around me. 
So I will be starting that soon.  Maybe it'll give the reader(s) out there something to think about, maybe even laugh about, or just laugh at, I don't know.

I'm thinking that this one will be more sporadic, where I write when I can think of something. 


Political cartoons will come into play, so maybe just visit for that.

Here I am again!

Wow!  I remembered!  Yay!

But what am I going to write?  Ugh.
Well, not much has happened today.  I took the first exam in my political science class again, and passed.  Yippee!  Now I have to focus on passing the second exam by February 1st.


It's really warm out.  About 35 degrees (F) I'd gather. 
Hm...What else.....I ordered the Fable 3 Limited Edition Strategy Guide off amazon!  I'm soooo excited!!!!  It's supposed to get here Thursday.

It's supposed to have, like, 80 more art gallery pages!  I'm thinking that this might help me in the way of my Fable 3 comics. 

Which I will put one up for you now:

Okay.  This isn't the first one I ever did for Fable 3.  The first one I did is horrifically bad.  So instead I chose to share this one with you!

So that people who don't know about Fable 3 aren't lost, I'll give  you the run down.
In Fable 3 you are a prince/princess in the kingdom of Albion.  Your brother, Logan, is king.  Problem is, he's hasn't been a just king.  So there is talk of a revolution.

In Fable 3, you make choices throughout the game that can depict you as good or evil.  I chose good (for my first file anyways, which is the one I drew in the comics).

In the beginning of the game, you hear of stories that the people of Albion are severely unhappy, and are likely to revolt against your brother's rule. 
Ultimately in the first five minutes of the game, you end up making Logan mad at you.  He then goes on a short monologue, which includes him saying something along the lines said in the comic. 


I find that it's a good thing that my character in Fable 3 can't say what I say.

Anyways....the guy in the comic is Logan.  I didn't show his face because I ruined it when I tried.  So you get a view of Logan from the back.



Um....I think I explained that all well enough.  If not, then go on Wikipedia or something.

First time here

I've haven't really done this before.  Well, unless you count a journal on Roosterteeth.com.

My older sister set this up for me because I expressed my want to share my drawings on the internet.  So, here I am.

I mainly draw cartoons now.  Almost all of them are about my video game experience and mostly played out by drawings of my video game character (who is called Lady_Vossler).
The plan is to share one drawing with every blog post.  And I hope to post every Monday.

I guess that's it.

It's terrible, I know. 
This one is from the Halo video game.  In it are me (Lady_Vossler) and my boyfriend (mrkaw).
I hope it gives you some amusement.

For those of you not familiar with the Halo video game, I will try to explain.

In Halo, humanity is threatened with extinction.  An assortment of alien races, known as the Covenant, are trying to wipe out humanity.  That's the basic idea.

In the cartoon in the monitor, 343 Guilty Spark.  At some point in the Halo game, you have to battle 343 Guilty Spark, a challenge I was not ready for.  I didn't know I had to battle him until the moments before he attacked. 

I think that should do it.
